New Machinery for Heathergems Pitlochry

Well the weather is reasonable and the shop is getting busier. We have just bought a new, well almost new, CNC Lathe to turn our Heathergem Heather Beads. We have had some training and been shown how to use it. It is rather complicated but I am sure that we will get there. Once it is fully up and running it will save Paul a lot of time turning. He currently turns all the Heather beads on a Colchester Lathe. We should also be able to produce more and different shapes of beads so if you would like to see something new, please let us know.
This picture shows the machine arriving. It had to be lifted in and brought through the shop and did create something of a mess.
