Perfect for any dog lover, this brooch captures the unique shape and personality of the Dachshund (affectionately known as the sausage dog).

Known for their short legs, long body and clever and playful personality, Dachshunds are a popular breed. They are a regular at dog shows across the world. In 2020, the Dachshund Maisie became the first of the breed to win Best in Show at Crufts.

At Heathergems, we manufacture a wide range of handcrafted Scottish jewellery.

Each is handmade using heather harvested from the Scottish hills. The heather stems are harvested, dyed and compressed, before being cut to shape and lacquered.
