Heathergems is a unique and imaginative range of
Scottish Jewellery and Celtic Giftware made from natural Heather in
Scotland.
Our Visitor Centre and Factory Outlet Shop is situated in
Pitlochry in the central Highlands of Scotland, an area of outstanding
true natural beauty. Pitlochry is the ideal location for Heathergems as
the surrounding hills provide the natural heather from which our unique
Scottish jewellery is made.
The heather is collected locally,
cleaned and then the stems are dyed and compressed into a solid block.
This block is then cut into slices and shaped into individual pieces by
our skilled crafts people.
Every piece of this hand-made jewellery
is an original, as no two are ever the same, making it the perfect
Scottish souvenir and gift.
Heathergems are distributed by our
associate company, Charles Buyers & Co Ltd. from our head office in
Irvine on the West Coast of Scotland.
We carry large stocks of all
our products, all of which are displayed in our Factory Outlet
Shop.
We are the only manufacturers of this patented and unique
product anywhere in the World. We look forward to welcoming you to
Heathergems in Pitlochry.

No other small highland town is as interesting or
as beautiful as Pitlochry. Its most unusual feature is the Pitlochry
Festival Theatre, a professional "rep" with a full season's programme.
Many other arts and musical events are staged throughout most of the year
and they contrast with Pitlochry's situation on the shores of Loch
Faskally and the River Tummel.
Pitlochry was a famous destination
for the rich, Victorian sporting gentleman wanting Scotland's best salmon
angling, deer stalking and grouse shooting. It now boasts a highly varied
bird life surrounding its granite and baronial architecture and the
Faskally salmon ladders bring you to within a few feet of migrating salmon
and sea trout.
Eating styles vary from bistros to restaurants and
Pitlochry is on the "Whisky Trail". Last but not least, a Heathergem made
in Pitlochry from local Perthshire heather will be a lasting reminder of
Scotland, for ever.

Perthshire combines the grandeur of the Highlands
with the quiet beauty of lowland Scotland where two landscapes meet in
beautiful harmony.
Hereabouts the UKs biggest salmon was caught at
64lbs in the mighty rivers that pass through wooded banks of the oldest
and tallest hardwoods in Europe.
Perthshire abounds in mountains
over 3000ft. and Ben Lawyers is only 14 feet short of 4000! Famous drove
roads split the mountains into spectacular rambles, through wilderness and
glen where sights of eagle, stag, peregrine and otter are not uncommon and
the untouched landscape is home to many species of birds.
The
famous rolling heather moors are the best in Scotland and stretch from the
soaring mountains to the North, East and West and to Pitlochry in the
south.
Don't stay too long, otherwise you will never want to go
home!
